About The Event
A one day trip on the Homosassa River visiting our friends,
“The Manatees.”
Plan on meeting at the Homosassa River Marina about 15 minutes prior to boarding our pontoon boat with our Captain and head up the river to the Homosassa Springs. You can swim and pet these friendly creatures. Expect to have about two to three hours of snorkeling time.
For lunch, we'll dock at one of three waterfront restaurants: The Freezer, Marguerita Grill, or the Shed. All are great places to eat and we can dock at the restaurants.
The day would not be complete without a visit to Monkey Island (yes it really is an island with only monkeys on it). You can expect to have up to 6 hours on the river. All in all, it's just a fun day on the river and making new friends. We should be back at the dock about 4:00pm
