Swimming with the Manatees
Let's take a boat ride on the Homosassa River to swim with the manatees. We will find them at the Homosassa Springs, just a short ride down the river. The manatees swim here to evade the cooler winter Gulf waters. The springs are 72 degrees year-round. This is cool to us, but warm to the manatees.
You may join them in the water with swimsuits.
We have 4 wetsuits to share.
Snorkel gear is not necessary, but you are welcome to bring your own.
This is NOT a nude activity.
