With spring just around the corner we can expect high of 77, sunny. E wind 5 to 7 MPH ( could change). This makes for a nice day on the river to snorkel with these cuties. They will not be in the springs much longer. The water temp in the springs is a constant 72-74 year round, it'll feel cool at first but it is comfortable (no need for a wet-suit. Haven’t done this yet? Now would be the time to go,

We’ll all gather for breakfast at 9 a.m. at a local restaurant in Homosassa. I will call ahead to make reservations for our group. After breakfast it’s a short drive to the marina to board our boat and head up the river to t he springs. Lunch, we'll dock at a new restaurant called Margarita Grille, a new local riverside eatery. After lunch, weather permitting and time, we’ll take a lazy ride down the beautiful Homosassa River to the Gulf of Mexico. The day would not be complete without a visit to Monkey Island (yes it really is an island with only monkeys on it). You can expect to have up to 6 hours on the river. All in all, it's just a fun day on the river and making new friends. We should be back at the dock about 4:00 don’t forget your camera!
