Manatee Viewing & Lunch

Manatee Viewing Center (January 31, 2026) is a no cost event where you drive to the TECO power plant near Apollo Beach (6990 Dickman Rd), park free and observe Manatees warming themselves as you stroll around on walkways, observing. 

There is a free educational building on site if you’d like to know more about Manatees.

The center is VERY popular, so we recommend you arrive at 9:30AM, 30 minutes before the center opens, to snag a parking space. 

If you see cars pulled onto the grass alongside Dickman Rd, those cars are waiting to enter the free parking lot. 

The parking lot fills quickly, as does the free overflow parking lot, so arriving early is a good idea. 

Wear your Nautical nudists wrist band and congregate near the snack bar to meet-up, then go view the Manatees.
